Turban garlic grow very well in the dry climate and latitudes of the Great Basin. Cool to cold winters, warm to hot springs. Tashket produces heavily striped bulbs with approximately 6 large pink to brown cloves. Robust hot flavor Turbans originate from S.E. Asia. They are great for cooking Asian cuisine.
Turban garlics are some of the first to mature, harvesting early to mid May in our area. They also dependably produce scapes at our latitude. The scape capsule looks like a turban. We get very good size Tashket bulbs.
Medium storage qualities.
All garlic is priced at 20.00/lb up to 10lbs. Bulk pricing above 10lbs is 17.50/lb. Contact us for bulk orders.
We ship minimum 2″ – 2 1/2″ bulbs. Early orders get the biggest bulbs. We will begin shipping in August.
